A free printable calendar you can type on
Most printable calendars are fixed PDFs: you print them and write everything by hand. This one is a calendar maker that works like a sheet of paper on your desk. Click any day and type birthdays, appointments, school events or work shifts. Your writing appears on the page exactly as it will print, and it stays saved in your browser for next time.
Switch between a monthly calendar, a weekly planner, two or three months on one page, or a yearly calendar on a single sheet. Notes follow the date, so something you type on the month view also shows on the week and year views.
Holidays for 2026 and 2027
Holidays are worked out by rule for any year, so the calendar is right for 2026, 2027 and beyond. Choose one of 28 countries, from the United States and the United Kingdom to Spain, Japan or Indonesia, and add Christian, Jewish, Islamic or Lunar New Year dates. Observed days are added when a holiday falls on a weekend. You can also add your own holidays and birthdays that repeat every year.

New Year's Day 2028 falls on a Saturday, so it is observed on Friday, December 31, 2027.
Paper sizes and printing tips
The page you see is drawn at real size for Letter, A4, Legal, Tabloid (11 × 17), A3 and A5, in landscape or portrait, with safe margins already built in. In the print window, keep the scale at 100% and margins at Default or None. If the weekend shading or colors are missing, turn on "Background graphics". For a wall calendar, print on Tabloid or A3; for a planner binder, A5 or Letter portrait works well.
Make a full year in one go
Open the month view and pick "All of 2027" next to the Print button: all twelve months appear one under another, exactly as they will print, with your notes, photos and holidays on each. Download it as a single PDF to print at home or at a copy shop, or open the 2027 monthly calendar page.
Private by design
There is no sign-up. Everything you type, your settings and your photos are stored only in this browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded. Settings stay the way you left them until you press "Reset to default", and you can export your notes to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook as an .ics file.
Questions and answers
Is this printable calendar free?
Yes. Every layout, design, holiday option and download is free, with no account and no watermark. A small line with the site name in the page corner can be switched off in the Style settings.
Can I type on the calendar before printing?
Yes. Click any day and start typing. On a phone, tap a day to open a box where you can write a note and pick a highlight color. Long notes shrink to fit so nothing gets cut off.
How do I save the calendar as a PDF?
Press Download PDF to get a file right away. For the sharpest result with selectable text, press Print and choose "Save as PDF" as the printer.
Which holidays are included?
Public holidays and common observances for 28 countries across the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, from the United States, Canada and Brazil to Germany, Japan and Saudi Arabia, plus optional Christian, Jewish, Islamic and Lunar New Year dates. Jewish holidays begin at sundown the evening before the date shown.
Will my notes still be there tomorrow?
Yes, on the same browser and device. They are saved automatically as you type. Clearing your browser data removes them, so download an .ics file or PDF if you want a copy.
How do I print all 12 months at once?
In the month view, choose "All of" the year next to the Print button: all twelve months appear one under another, and Print or Download PDF makes all 12 pages. You can also start from this month with "Next 12 months".
Can I start the week on Monday?
Yes. In Settings, under Layout, choose Sunday, Monday or Saturday. Week numbers follow the ISO standard when the week starts on Monday.
What paper sizes can I print on?
Letter, A4, Legal, Tabloid (11 × 17 inches), A3, A5, Half Letter, 5 × 7, 4 × 6, 3 × 5 or any custom size, each in landscape or portrait, with adjustable margins and room for a binder.
